Owner & Athletic Performance Coach
Sean is an Athletic Performance Coach at 4sight Academy. He specializes in injury reduction, power production, change of direction efficiency, and athlete empowerment.
Sean is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and holds three additional certifications: DBC Level 1: Biomechanics and Human Movement; Applied Performance Coach - Cohort 1; and Pain-Free Performance Specialist. After graduating from Saint Augustine High School (SAHS) in 2017, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2020. Prior to envisioning 4sight Academy, he interned at SAHS where he instructed over 200 elite middle school, high school, and collegiate athletes.
His skill set includes assessing athletes, collecting hard data, and designing custom training programs, but his distinguishing expertise is his high-level communication. Language will vary, but regardless of the level of the individual, all of Sean’s athletes complete their programs feeling empowered. Sean makes one message clear: do the right thing, and both sport and non-sport related opportunities will be limitless.
Athletic Performance Coach
Yaz is looking forward to joining the 4sight Family as an Athletic Performance Coach. She is also a Sports Performance Coach at Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU). Her main aspiration is to empower athletes to live with passion and purpose.
She is certified through USA Weightlifting (USAW Level 1) and holds an additional certification as an Applied Performance Coach (APCC). She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California State University, Fullerton in 2020 and is now pursuing her Master of Science in Kinesiology from PLNU. Prior to coaching at PLNU, she worked in clinical rehabilitation settings as a chiropractic assistant and in research laboratory settings as a research assistant.
Her hard skills of program design, data collection, and performance optimization compliment her soft skills of organization, authenticity, and optimism. However, her desire to help athletes goes beyond what happens in the weight room. She strives to do everything with heart - have empathy and remarkable things happen.
Doctor Miron Ferrer is a Physical Therapist at 4sight Academy. He is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy in the State of California. Through manual therapy and corrective exercise, his mission is to provide high-quality care to help athletes and active adults reach their highest potential without injury.
He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, California in 2017. Prior to physical therapy school, Dr. Miron earned his Certified Strength and Conditioning Certification (CSCS) and was a strength and conditioning intern at Division 1 colleges in New York and New Jersey. He also spent two years as a Crossfit coach for his local boxes in New Jersey.
Before Prevention Werx, he noticed a discrepancy between traditional physical therapy and sports performance for the athletic and active adult population. So, in 2019, Prevention Werx was created to provide a unique blend of rehabilitation and strength and conditioning to help these individuals return to the sport that they love without pain.
Doctor Alyssa Ferrer is a Physical Therapist at 4sight Academy. She is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy in the State of California. If she is not being a super mom and taking care of her and Doctor Miron's new son, she is giving world-class care to her clients.
She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, California in 2017. Prior to physical therapy school, Dr. Alyssa was a multi-sport varsity athlete in high school. She played soccer, volleyball, and soccer. She went on to be a coach for her local club soccer teams.
The mission of Prevention Werx is to help athletes and active adults be bulletproof in their sports. They believe that a comprehensive approach is necessary to reach one's highest athletic potential. Their training philosophy is to build individuals' resiliency and durability so that they can perform at a high-level throughout their lifetime.
